"Yesterday I was miles away with my thoughts and deleted permanently 325Mb of data,
actually MP3 files. I just finished my last download of classical piano masterpieces and
was about to save them on CD (just for security reasons, not to play them elsewhere).
My downloadprogram creates .log files in the same directory so I decided to get rid of them
first. Somehow, somewhere, something went wrong (shift key pressed probably) and all my MP3's (a week of downloads!) were gone also!!

"Greetings!
Last week (on Friday the 13th, no less) while installing and partitioning
a new 4.3gb hard drive, I accidentally formatted my existing 1.2gb drive.
Afterwards, I discovered, much to my dismay, that I had lost thousands of
files (my entire collection of shareware, the BBS that I run, along with a
l of my financial records).  Needless to say I was extremely shocked and depressed.
That was probably the worst day of my life.
At that point, I was desperate.  I was considering purchasing Norton Utilities
for Windows NT 4.0 ($89 -- not exactly cheap).  I had also contacted a local disk
drive recovery outfit in Novato, CA.  They quoted me $675 to do the job over 5-7 days.
Then on Saturday, I stumbled across your file recovery program of yours, and gave it a try.
Amazingly, it restored every file that was originally on my hard drive
(Plus or minus a couple files).
I just wanted to thank you for your wonderful program and your program saved my butt!

photos of her mother and grandmother could no longer be read.  All of these photos

"I lost the FAT of some backup disks earlier and for convenience decided it was easier
to recover the disk rather than back up again.  It appears to have worked but I do
have one question that you may be able to help me with.
When I saved the data I had the option of 'No Fat', 'FAT 1' and 'FAT 2' - I tried each
and there does not seem to be any difference between the two, they all work well.
Are you able to explain these further?

I found your program on the SimTel archive this morning and downloaded it.
I was in a tight spot with one of my best clients. I deleted some of their data
accidentally while replacing hard drives. I found that your program actually worked
without doing a safe "structure backup". I logged in and bought your software and was
